Legal and Advisory scope

Data Reliance

The accuracy of this advisory depends on the accuracy and completeness of client-supplied data, including weights, modifications, and loading descriptions. Where measured data is unavailable, conservative assumptions and bounded estimates may be applied and clearly identified

RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibility for vehicle loading, operation, and compliance remains with the vehicle operator at all times. To the extent permitted by law, the advisory provider is not responsible for outcomes arising from inaccurate or incomplete client-supplied data or changes made after assesment.

This service provides an online, data-based advisory only.

It does not constitute vehicle certification, engineering approval, legal authorisation, or a guarantee of compliance.

All assessments are based on manufacturer specifications and information supplied by the client. Actual compliance depends on real-world loading at the time of operation.

No physical inspection, weighting, or verification is performed by the advisory provider.

Manufacturer Limits

Manufacturer-specified limits for GVM, axle loads, GCM, Towbar ratings, and Caravan compliance plates are treated as absolute maximums. This advisory does not override, reinterpret extend these limits under any circumstances.

Suspension and Modifications

Suspension upgrades, airbags springs, shocks, or load-assisting devices do not increase legal axle or mass limits unless accompanied by formally approved engineering certification. Any modelling of suspension effects relates only to load distribution behaviour, not legal capacity.

Weight Distribution Hitches

Weight distribution hitches may alter how load is shared between axles but do not change legal axle, GVM, or GCM limits. All assessments are based on manufacturer-specified limits.
